A long time ago, in 1878, a 20-year-old Italian man by the name of Silviano Venchi loved chocolate so much that he spent all his savings on two bronze cauldrons and began to experiment. He created a company that expanded throughout Italy with its Nougatine, small candies made of crushed and caramelized hazelnuts coated in dark chocolate. As well as the Chocoviar, Truffles, Gianduiotti, Cremini, Bars, Suprema spread, Gelato, and Gourmet eggs. Today, Venchi follows the same time-honored recipes and is celebrated across the world for crafting artisanal chocolates, which still nod to Torino’s iconic gianduja. Following Silvano’s values, the company uses only high-quality, all-natural ingredients without chemical additives, preserves, and so on.
