Universal CityWalk Orlando, Florida

For Fall break this year, we visited Universal Studios Orlando, Florida. Universal Studios is a theme park at Universal Orlando Resort that features rides and attractions. Exploring CityWalk, which is basically attached to Universal Studios, is a great way to add to your already amazing Universal Orlando Resort visit! CityWalk is a Hoppin’ spot, whether you’re making the most out of an adults-only vacation or you’re there with your whole family. It is a great place to walk around, sit, enjoy some music with a drink near the water, and take in the lights and the ambiance of Universal. There are no rides to be found, but Universal CityWalk Orlando boasts several dining and entertainment options. It’s great for Guests staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel to spend a relaxing evening outside of the Parks. And after we had a great time exploring Universal Studios theme park, we ended it every night in City Walk. One evening, we took advantage of the man-made grass located near the water while we listened to music and waited for our dinner reservation time. It is also good for a power nap after all the walking. Another day, we grabbed a drink at one of the Kiosks and sat by the water. Here are a few of the restaurants we recommend for ending your day.

  1. The Cowfish
A Bustling, family-friendly fusion eatery at Universal CityWalk with burgers, sushi, and a full bar.
  2. The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen
A sweet shop and restaurant with a playful 19th-century steampunk theme and character visits.
  3. Big fire
A dinner destination with a contemporary vibe offering steaks, burgers, and seafood, plus a bourbon menu.
  4. Voodoo Doughnut
This venue serves creative donuts in a colorful and quirky environment.

City Walk is a busy place, so we highly, highly recommend dinner reservations. Without them, you may not find a seat. There are many more great spots to choose from, like Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, and Vivo Italian Kitchen. We only visited a few of them due to time constraints. But we found all the food at City Walk to be amazing!
