Things to Do in Hot Springs, Arkansas

On our way home from Branson, Missouri, the Savour families stopped in Hot Springs, Arkansas, for a few nights. “Ancient thermal springs, mountain views, incredible geology, forested hikes, and abundant creeks – all in the middle of town – make Hot Springs National Park a unique and beautiful destination.” Here are the family-friendly adventures that we were able to see.

1. Garvan Woodland Garden

Garvan Woodland Gardens, the botanical garden of the University of Arkansas, is nestled in the picturesque Ouachita Mountains of Southwest Arkansas.

2. Superior Bathhouse Brewery

3. Bathhouse Row

A collection of historic bathhouses where people flocked in the early 20th century for therapeutic hot springs baths.

4. Fordyce Bathhouse Museum

Fordyce Bathhouse Museum was extensively restored by 1989 and is now enjoying a renaissance as a historically furnished museum.
