The Fairhope Inn-Restaurant and B&B

Nestled on beautiful South Church Street in the heart of Fairhope, Alabama, is a venue where you can find private dining, a generous courtyard, and a culinary staff ready to put together a memorable occasion. The Fairhope Inn, a 100+-year-old property, has been recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and has been freshly renovated. The historic home dates to 1906, when visitors to the Eastern Shore arrived by steamboat. Casually elegant décor, light-filled rooms, and the work of celebrated local artists throughout the location ensure the perfect backdrop for your dining, event, or Bed and Breakfast experience.

The menu, which is seasonal, includes hand-cut steaks, Alabama Gulf Seafood, and local products. There you can find NOLA classics with a Fairhope finish as well as craft or classic cocktails at the Polo Lounge. Marty and I enjoyed lunch the other day in this lovely atmosphere. I enjoyed the Fried green tomatoes with Crab Cakes while Marty enjoyed the Salmon Salad. We added on the very fresh Inn salads.

For dessert, I enjoyed the blueberry bread pudding while Marty tried the Crème Brulé. They were both fabulous!!

I have been coming to the Fairhope Inn for over 20 years and have always enjoyed being there. I came for work when I was photographing weddings many years ago, and now, I come to sit and relax with friends as well as business partners. The atmosphere is always relaxing, and for me, the food is always good. The Fairhope Inn is located at 63 South Church Street in Fairhope, Alabama.
