Showboat Branson Belle -Branson, Missouri

The Savour crew headed to Branson, Missouri, for a one-week trip this past spring break. One of our many adventures included dinner, a cruise, and a show aboard the Showboat Branson Belle. This gave us an opportunity to leave our cares behind for two relaxing hours of adventure and entertainment. One of the most enticing features of this cruise was the ability to enjoy time on scenic Table Rock Lake. The trip departed from White River Landing, and it was there that we boarded the Queen of the Ozarks, a majestic themed showboat. The Branson Belle evokes the spirit of a bygone era when riverboat adventure, glamorous travel, and dazzling entertainment converged. One interesting fact is that the Showboat Branson Belle was launched from her lakeside shipyard on August 13, 1994, using two tons of bananas as a lubricant for the nine-second slide into the water. According to their website, she traveled 14 mph during the launch, faster than she’ll ever travel on water. We really enjoyed the view from outside on the ship’s balconies of Table Rock Lake, not to mention that the food and the show were fabulous.

When we returned to the Showboat Branson Belle’s dock, we also found two specialty shops, where we found souvenirs and elegant ladies’ apparel, jewelry, and accessories. There is also a restroom close by for emergencies. Unforgettable memories here with our families. For more information about the dinner cruise, click here.
