SeaWorld Orlando, Florida

This Fall, the Savour family decided to take a trip to SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. We also visited Universal Studios, which was only 15 minutes away, and added it to our itinerary. Since we all love animals, it was a wonderful experience for us. We enjoyed exploring the many fascinating fish exhibits and dolphin tanks. We learned that SeaWorld’s marine animal habitats and animal practices are independently accredited, reviewed, audited, and certified by premier zoological and animal welfare organizations. This guarantees that they meet and exceed the highest standards of animal care anywhere. According to AZA, less than 10% of the approximately 2,800 animal exhibitors licensed by the USDA in the United States have met their standards, and SeaWorld Orlando is one of them.

The experience that we enjoyed the most was the Penguins Up-Close Tour, which is about a 45-minute behind-the-scenes tour of the Antarctica exhibition. We learned from the animal experts about how they care for the penguins. We were also able to stroke the heads of a few of the penguins. What a wonderful experience that we will never forget.

And, of course, if you love rides, then this is the place for you. They have a variety of rides, including 6 rollercoasters, 2 water rides, a train, a carousel, and more.

And we can not forget to mention the restaurant where we had lunch. The Sharks Underwater Grill® and Bar was a wonderful place to take a break, and we enjoyed this up-scale full-service restaurant.
Sea World is a great place to spend the day for families of all ages. They also have seasonal events for Halloween and Christmas.
