Rotolo’s Pizzeria -Fairhope, Alabama

Imagine a fresh Ricotta Dip baked in Marinara sauce and then served with garlic bread for dipping. Or oven-fresh Garlic Parmesan Bites basted with garlic butter and parmesan cheese, then served with marinara for dipping. If the thought of this sounds yummy to you, then Rotolo’s Pizzeria, located in Fairhope, Alabama, is a perfect fit for you. I just love Italian-style food, and we all really enjoyed this location. We all ordered something different.

I tried THE POPEYE, which is a non-traditional-style pizza served with fresh spinach, roasted garlic, feta cheese, roasted red peppers, and red onions. I also added mushrooms and kalamata olives. Marty tried ROTOLO’S in-house lasagna. It is their classic lasagna, and it is handmade and baked in-house. Six layers filled with fresh ricotta, mozzarella, marinara sauce, crumbled sausage, and their signature meatballs, topped with authentic red gravy and smothered in mozzarella cheese. The rest of our crew ordered a cheese pizza, perfect for the kiddos, and the FRENCH QUARTER MUFFULETA. It was filled with ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, and a savory house-made olive salad. It was served on traditional muffuletta bread.

There is just a ton of stuff to choose from on their menu. Our crew loved that this place was casual, and the staff was friendly. Kids eat free on Tuesdays after 5:00 pm, and there is a game room in the back. So, just a great place to hang out with your family or friends. If you go to their website, you can order online and take it home. You can also find them in many locations around the U.S. Check their website for locations near you. We visited Rotolo’s Pizzeria, located at 100 Eastern Shore Shopping Center, Hwy. 98 US-98, in Fairhope, AL 36532. For more Keeping It Local and Travel information, please visit our blog.
