New Year’s Resolutions 2024

It is a new year, and it is time to make a list of your New Year’s resolutions. New Year’s resolutions are promises that people make to themselves prior to the start of a new year about retaining good habits and giving up bad ones. It’s a time to sketch out your goals and think about the roadmap to get there. Here are my New Year’s resolutions and how I plan on accomplishing them.

1. Organize my Home

Organizing one’s home is one of the most common resolutions. But to truly achieve this, I made a plan. I have made a list of every room in my home. I then listed every drawer, shelf, and closet in that room. This list allowed me to create a checklist. I then resolve to spend at least an hour a day cleaning one item on my checklist. Once I finish organizing that area, I can then mark it off the checklist.

2. Get back in shape 

Losing weight is probably the number one New Year’s resolution. I have probably had the weight loss resolution every year for the last 20 years. But this year, I have decided to change this resolution to get back in shape. I feel that this will be a longer-lasting, possibly a lifetime, change. Starting my journey with yoga and walking. 3. Give up Sodas

I have to admit that I have been a Diet Pepsi addict for years. This year I have decided to give it up for a New Year’s resolution. Giving up soda can be tougher than you think. Sodas, even diet sodas, are not healthy and can cause a number of health issues. So I’m taking the Diet Soda Elimination Challenge. I’m going to start by switching to green tea and adding more water to my day. I will no longer bring it into my home or order it when out at a restaurant.
