March Garden

It is early March in Zone 8, and we are having a mixture of warm and cold days, typical for this time of year. Not a lot of rain lately. Great time of year to have a garden.

I harvested my cabbage and planted tomatoes. My broccoli is growing.

It is now time to thin out my carrots. My snap peas are doing well; trying to get them growing up the garden trellis.

Romaine lettuce is looking spectacular. Beets are still struggling but a little better.

I replaced my bell pepper plant; it didn’t make it through the winter. Time to fertilize again with my organic mixture; one part Bone meal, Blood meal, and Kelp meal.
