Dragonfly Foodbar

Well, we have heard about it and heard about it, so we finally had to go and see for ourselves just what was going on at the Dragonfly Foodbar. Located in downtown Fairhope, Al on Church Street, we found a cozy and exciting place.

We arrived when the door was first opened and took a seat, then looked around to see the door pouring open with customers. Before we knew it, we were surrounded by folks who obviously knew about this place and had come to enjoy their favorite menu item.

It’s not a complicated menu, but it’s undoubtedly unique! We found a twist on the taco with multiple combinations. I tried the Blackened Ribeye with Blue Cheese Aioli, the Seared Tuna Wasabi with edamame, and fried Jalapenos while Marty set her sites on the Braised Pork with Apple Habanera and Seared Tuna. These paired nicely with our favorite lunch Rose’ and Unsweet tea with lemon.

We noticed the locals were enjoying the various noodles and rice bowls. We will definitely give those a try next time. It was cold outside, so we enjoyed our meal inside but noticed the wonderful seating area located streetside. There is a lovely courtyard as well. We found the service was top-notch, and the food was creative, fresh, health-conscious, and tasty!
