Balanced Mind,  What We Are Reading

Do You Have Just a Minute?

Sifting through the wonderful space that I call home, I found a wonderful little book titled “You Can”.
It was put together by a man named Clinton T. Howell back in 1974. And it was given to my grandmother as a gift when she became Grand Ruth of the Order of the Eastern Star. It is a collection of brief talks on one of the most important topics in the world. It is about success. Inside, on page 67, I located a cute poem about one of MY favorite topics, which is time. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Just a Minute
Only sixty seconds in it,
Forced upon me, can’t refuse it,
Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it,
I must suffer if I lose it,
Give account if I abuse it,
Just a tiny little minute-
But eternity is in it.

What are you doing with your minute? Chart it for a week. Those who do may be surprised.
