Bricktown Brewery -Branson, Missouri

On a recent trip to Branson, Missouri, we found this gem of a restaurant while waiting to board the famous Branson Scenic Railway. After our fantastic ride through the natural landscape, we stopped here for lunch. The restaurant is located on Lake Taneycomo, a man-made reservoir on the White River in the Ozark Mountains.

For lunch, my daughter ordered a pizza with veggies on the side. Good girl! I guess she deserves that side of Oreo cookies. And I went for the salad with grilled shrimp. Marty and her hubby went for the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Chicken breast sandwich with sweet, peppered bacon, charred onions, Pepper Jack, lettuce, tomato, and Dijon sauce on a pretzel bun.

I loved my food, but the most memorable thing for me was my dessert. A Bricktown root beer float made from handcrafted root beer poured over two scoops of Tillamook® vanilla bean ice cream. It was Yum! The other things we loved about this restaurant were that we could eat great food, drink locally crafted beverages as well as take in a water view. Add the friendly service, and this place has it all. Dine outside if you wish. They made us deep south Southerners feel right at home.

Bricktown Brewery is located at 1221 Branson Landing Boulevard in Branson, Missouri, 65616. For more Travel articles, please visit our blog.
