Berlucchi Wine Bar- Rome Fiumicino Airport, Italy

If you happen to be traveling to Italy for the holidays or the summer, I found the perfect place to sit, rest, and unwind right at Rome International Airport. Berlucchi Wine Bar is an unmissable stop for lovers of good taste and refinement. A sparkling bar featuring an exclusive selection of Franciacorta Berlucchi accompanied by many tastes from the Italian tradition and the signature menu created by starred chef Gennaro Esposito. It is a quiet gourmet oasis where you can take refuge from the airport frenzy before departure in an elegant and bright environment enriched by furniture made of natural materials. It is ideal for aperitifs, lunches, or dinners but also a simple moment of relaxation. Some facts to know are that in 1961, Franco Ziliani launched what would become a unique chapter in the history of winemaking, a history whose pages boast of stellar achievements, international recognition, and the ever-growing quality of his Franciacorta. Here, you will find a history composed of family, passion, and hard work. And you can enjoy all of this in the newly renovated Food Court of Terminal 1 of Rome Fiumicino Airport. We had five hours to spend there, and we sat and relaxed with the CAPRESE REALE. A nice dish of mozzarella di bufala, prosciutto di San Daniele, tomatoes, spinach, and olives. For the kids, the Spaghetti Al Pomodoro with Basilico, which is pasta with tomatoes and basil, is ideal.
