4 Fantastic  Ways to Fill your Mind with Positive Energy

The People you surround yourself with change you to be more like them. Their thoughts and words feed your mind like vegetables or like junk food.   Positive thoughts create real value in your life and help you shape your reality. In contrast, negative thoughts drain you both mentally and physically. In fact, some recent studies have proven that there is a direct link between a positive outlook on life to your overall health. The positive energy that you cultivate every day results in decreased feelings of loneliness and increased resilience to bad experiences in life.

Below you will find some ideas on how to fill your mind with positive energy even when you can’t seem to find anyone positive around. All you need is yourself to get started. 

1. Listen to positive music.

One example of music that positively affects a person is a gospel. Gospel music contains a very strong and powerful message in its words. But any music that speaks to you with a positive message will work. I personally enjoy classical music when I am driving. 

2.  Listen to uplifting audiobooks on the drive to work.

An example might be The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work. Now you try to find a few. Amazon, Kindle, or your local library would be a good start.

3.  Read books that are encouraging.

The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by His Holiness the Dalai Lama is one book I have enjoyed learning from in the past. 

4.  Watch videos and listen to podcasts that are positive or help you improve your skills.
